Website Build FAQ
What do I need to provide?
You provide your logo, brand colours (or we'll choose), copy/text for each page, and any photos. If you need copywriting or photography, I can recommend specialists.
How long does it take?
Standard builds take 3 weeks from deposit to launch. Custom builds take 2 weeks (priority scheduling). Timeline starts once you've provided all content.
What are the payment terms?
50% upfront to begin, 50% on final approval before launch. For Standard builds that's $1,500 / $1,500. For Custom it's $2,500 / $2,500.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance after the build?
Yes. My WordPress Care Plans start at $59/month and include hosting, security, and monthly maintenance. Most build clients roll straight into a care plan.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
Yes. WordPress has a built-in editor and I'll walk you through how to update pages, posts, and images. No developer needed for content changes.
What platform do you build on?
WordPress. Not Wix, Squarespace, or Webflow. WordPress gives you full ownership, the largest plugin ecosystem, and no monthly platform fees.
